| This 1963 anthology collects some very early stories, including the wierd, ecstatic Prima Belladonna, one of the Vermillion Sands stories (Studio 5, the stars is also here). It's a calculatedly seductive collection, an attractive mixture of the cold, the cool, and the beautifully strange. The cover painting on this very pretty Penguin paperback is by Giorgio Gordoni. |
