Hello America belongs to the transformational books, and as such is full of strange changes and bizarre evolutions. It also has a luminously glorious ending, something very rare and special. Glamour, weapons, nukes, gold and the absorbing desert were what I had in mind when I scanned this. The book is a first edition, in good condition, and is going to Oxfam as soon as I get hold of a copy more to my taste. The sexy jacket-design is by Bill Botton. |
